From Artist:

Higanbana is a Japanese flower of death. Until the twentieth century, this red flower was not mentioned in any form of Japanese art. In this regard, the flower has "900 names”. The Japanese were afraid to even mention the name of the flower. In fact, this album is not about the flower of death, but about Japanese folklore, Japanese mysticism and Japanese loneliness. It seemed to me that this particular flower well symbolizes this album and what I wanted to convey. In this sense, "my” Higanbana represents the gap between realities of the living and the dead. This gap is as beautiful as this red flower of death. On the other hand, this album is a tribute. At the time, I was very influenced by the album "Taō" by Yko:

At the moment, this album is the most mysterious for me. I cannot find any more detailed information about it, so it fascinates me even more.

In this regard, my album is a reaction to the "Taō" album.

Higanbana is a large Japanese ancient forest that does not exist in common reality. Once in this place, it will confuse you and never let you out, and if you do get out, then your attitude to the old reality will change. You can enter this red dense forest through a dream in which you will hear the whisper of an unknown Japanese woman. In there you will meet Japanese ghosts, like a ghost of an old man who once died alone in his apartment, a forgotten samurai proud of his countless scars, and some other entities. You will freeze to the bones by the cold Japanese wind and immediately forget about it as soon as the forest starts to confuse you... Red Higanbana grows in this forest... don't be afraid, pick a flower and put it in your pocket.
