From artist:
I started doing HNW in 2010 under the name Ghost. Faithful to the "monolithic" nature of this genre, I used to set the sound and not touch my gear for the duration of the recording or performance. However, around 2015 I took to changing little things within the sound. As time went by i improvised more, to the point where it couldn't be called HNW anymore.

I like to use the term "Static Noise", which I have seen other wallerrs use to describe tracks that use many transitions and juxtapositions and that can't be called "Dynamic Harsh Noise" either. "Hangar Fantôme" is a statement of what I do now when I improvise with static.
