about

Caput Mortuum is a work about Nigredo, ritual death, purple and black, changes, despair and a little bit of irony and pain in the last track. But it’s a serious work which tells about a place called Viola Castello (italian for purple castle, and caput mortuum is also a shade of purple) which is the key to the changes that are coming, in a positive way. The blackness is the past.
All the sounds come from field and voice recordings made with tapes and a walkman and then elaborated, except from Unio Naturalis which is pure field recording.
